A curation of images capturing the story of crossing the Pyrenees from the Atlantic ocean to the Mediterranean Sea on the GR11 trail. 

39 Days, 886KM, 48,000 Metres of elevation gain. 
 

July 2024, I set off on my biggest adventure to date.

I never expected 20 year old me to be doing such a thing, but that’s just where life takes you, I guess.

​

Each image in this curation tells a story. 

​

My body was utterly exhausted and fatigued, the lack of nutrition i had was as a struggle throughout this journey.

The long days of Pyrenees heat, the 5am wake ups, and the 8pm finishes, each day was a slog.

I make it out to sound like hell, but only once i finished, did i wish i was still there walking.

This journey had such a profound impact on me in ways I cannot fully explain. All I know is that I am not the same person I was before hiking the GR11.
